About Seton Murphy
Seton Murphy grew up in Falmouth Heights, Massachusetts in a family of writers. The Running Waves novel and screenplay are his first, but just the beginning of more to come. In addition to his work on The Running Waves, he was a co-screenwriter of the award-winning short film, “Midnight Rebel.”
He co-founded the Silver Shores Wiffle Ball Tournament in 2011. Proceeds go to the Life Scholarship, which benefits a Falmouth High School graduate hoping to make a positive impact in the world. His favorite charities include Best Buddies, where he accepted the bike challenge from 2011-2015 raising approximately $15,000.
A graduate of Bridgewater State University, Seton is the Assistant Manager at Rockland Trust Company in Waltham. His influences, both creative and personal, include Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Tom Brady, Beck, and his parents. He lives in West Newton with his fiancee, Megan, and their daughter, Milah.
